Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of deconfiserie.qa (the “Website”) and all orders placed with DE CONFISERIE TRADING W.L.L., CR No. 254324, State of Qatar (“De Confiserie”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website or placing an order you accept these terms.

1. About our service

The Website is an online catalogue of our cakes and confectionery. Orders are placed by sending your cart or a product request to us on WhatsApp. An order is only confirmed once our team replies to accept it and confirms the price, delivery details and payment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or ordering with the consent of a parent or guardian, and provide accurate contact and delivery information.

3. Products & personalisation

• All cakes are handmade; colours, decorations and toppers may vary slightly from photos.
• Product photos are for illustration. Character figures, toppers or props shown may be replaced with similar items subject to availability.
• You are responsible for checking spelling of names and messages before confirming. We are not responsible for errors in text supplied by you.
• Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat (gluten), nuts, soy and other allergens. Please tell us about any allergy before ordering.

4. Prices & payment

• All prices are in Qatari Riyal (QAR). Delivery charges, where applicable, are confirmed before order confirmation.
• No payment is collected on the Website. Accepted payment methods (such as cash on delivery, bank transfer or a secure payment link) are confirmed on WhatsApp.
• Custom and theme cakes may require full or partial advance payment before production begins.
• We may correct pricing errors; if a price is wrong we will inform you before confirming your order.

5. Order lead time

Theme, tiered and custom cakes should be ordered at least 48 hours in advance. Short-notice orders are accepted only where possible.

6. Delivery

Delivery is subject to our Delivery Policy. Please ensure someone is available to receive the order at the agreed address and time.

7. Cancellations, refunds & exchanges

8. Intellectual property

All Website content, including text, logos and product photographs, belongs to De Confiserie and may not be copied without permission. Customers ordering designs based on third-party characters confirm the cake is for private, personal use.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of Qatar, our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

10. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Qatar’s Consumer Protection Law No. (8) of 2008 and Law No. (16) of 2010 on Electronic Commerce and Transactions.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Qatar.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the Website at the time of your order applies.
